CNN —Frank Stella, the American artist renowned for his abstract works, died on Saturday at the age of 87, his longtime representative said in a statement. “It has been a great honor to work with Frank for this past decade,” said Marianne Boesky, who has represented Stella since 2014, in a statement. “His is a remarkable legacy, and he will be missed.”Born in 1936, Massachusetts native Stella attended Phillips Academy Andover, where he studied painting under Patrick Morgan. Stella continued to create art well into his ninth decade, with his some of his recent sculptures being displayed at the Jeffrey Deitch Gallery in New York City. One of his final pieces is still on display in Florida at the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville.

The Y Combinator-backed Seabound believes its on board carbon-capture tech can play a key role. Fredriksson is the cofounder and CEO of Seabound, a climate-tech startup that aims to lower the greenhouse-gas emissions produced by the shipping industry. Seabound, backed by the famed accelerator Y Combinator, has built a carbon-capture machine that can be retrofitted onto ships. Having tested it on land, Seabound is now using a commercial container ship as its lab in a pilot project with the London-based shipping company Lomar Shipping. Fredriksson added that Seabound's reaction was exothermic, meaning it needed an injection of heat to get started but then was self-sustaining.

Kelly Johnson-Arbor said boarding school stabilized her life and helped her overcome shyness. While she had a positive experience, she decided not to send her own children to boarding school. The school gave me extra confidence and a great education, but I don't think boarding school is the right fit for everyone. She had friends who sent their kids to boarding schools, and she wanted me to have that experience. GOP operative Brandon Phillips was arrested on allegations of kicking a dog, a report said. Phillips resigned as Trump's 2016 Georgia campaign chief after details of a past crime emerged. The documents said Phillips was arrested on November 17 on misdemeanor charges of animal cruelty and held on a $1,200 bond. The alleged attack took place on August 23 in Albany, Georgia, the records say. According to the report, he was placed on probation for 36 months and ordered to pay $1,500 in restitution.

Phillips 66 spokesperson Bernardo Fallas said the smaller workforce was driven by a combination of attrition and eliminated positions. “Phillips 66 is undergoing a company-wide effort to optimize its cost structure and reimagine its operating model to enable sustainable savings,” the spokesperson said. Houston-based Phillips 66 said the cost-cutting moves, along with other steps, will give the company more financial firepower to boost stock buybacks and dividends. Phillips 66 said it plans to return an additional $10 billion to $12 billion to shareholders between mid-2022 and the end of 2024. “We are announcing a number of priorities designed to reward shareholders,” Phillips 66 CEO Mark Lashier said in a statement.
